Help ME post
Too bad I can't post links since this is my first post. I would suggest to search fight quest Kajukenbo on YouTube. It's not bad at all. The only thing they lack is the ground game because they believe that in a street fight, you would just keep getting kicked while on ground. That is the only problem. BJJ is a must for any martial artist IMO.
This is why there is a story of the Kajukenbo guy getting tapped out by a white belt in BJJ in this forum. Regardless, Kajukenbo has excellent self-defense and striking skills. They really make you feel like you can get attacked on the street at any time.
Krav Maga is cool too. It is more for the security, bouncer, and police. You get good knife and gun defense. Again, no ground game.
If I were you, I would cross-train in Muay Thai (like you've been doing) and BJJ. I would love to try Kajukenbo someday though. Their training seems intense and I like that.
What is happening here...?
