You are correct Omega. The Plaintiff's lawyer is most likely looking to settle out of court. However, unfortunately, depending on circumstances Polish Beast can be held liable under the tort of negligence. I am assuming the looser of the fight is the plaintiff in the case? Was any injured?

In school I followed people to watch a fight. Since I didn't prevent it, me and my family might get sued. I don't know if there's a law for this, but I don't think there is. There were people watching the fight and calling the fighters pussies, and they didn't even get in trouble. No reffer also or anything. Do you think this is right?

Sounds like scare tactics to me. Wait and see what the basis of the suit is, and then I'll tell you about a dozen ways to defend it in court.

Chances are that you will not see The inside of a court room if your parents have Home insurance as Omega stated earlier. The insurance company's lawyer will take the case. They will dispose you and you and your family will be fine.

I don't believe that it was at his house. But the home insurance, depending on the policy, should cover it.

So here's how it went down:

It was a normal school day. I went into the cafeteria, sat down, talked to my friends, it was normal. My acquaintance, we'll call Bob, was in talking to, let's call him Joe. Now I don't know how it started, but Bob and Joe got into an argument. Then Bob proceeded (don't ask about this, it was weird) goes down on the floor making fun of Joe. He also said something with that, I believe, "Hey! I'm a stick!". I don't understamd it. Anyway, Joe proceeded to try to kick Bob in the chest and face, and he failed. He then kicked him low twice. Bob comes up and just pushes Joe into the wall (without much force, just to show him he's not afraid of him). The Para in my school seperate them, tells them if they don't stop they'll be sent to the office. She then lets them sit on opposite sides of the table. Since Joe likes to blame others for his mistakes (Joe wrote some kid up because the kid called him "gay" once), we sat with Bob. Bob said he'd jump Billy, and we told him we would follow him if he did. Another kid, we'll say his name is Ryan, he came to Joe and told Joe Bob wanted to fight him outside. Bob followed Joe and wanted to fight. Joe walked away. Bob then stopped hin and Joe got into a fighting stance. Bob attacked, missed, bla bla. Later I get called down to the office. All I'll tell you is Joe said Ryan went back in forth, and the principal said he saw this on the camera. Ryan went once. I was there because, we'll call this kid Mr. Smiley, recorded the fight and we were with him at the front of the circle, watching the fight and knowing what would happen.
