zjkd, Where do you live and train? I am from Atlanta too.

Here in my lovely little city there is a TKD place on every corner. What confuses me is half of their signs say Tae Kwon Do Karate. I often wonder if they:
A. teach 2 different arts
B. teach TKD and just use the name Karate to grab the attention of people who don't know what TKD is
C. are just cashing the checks and care what they're teaching people
I understand calling it Korean Karate when explaining it to someone ignorant about martial arts but the phrase Tae Kwon Do Karate just seems weird.

Alot of the old school TKD places started using Korean Karate or TKD Karate to differentiate themselves from the ATA style schools. But then, the ATA style schools started using it too...

no details really except to say that when I went in to talk to someone (and I was actually interested in learning bjj) they were really helpful until I started asking them questions. Then I kinda got snubbed

I'm sorry man but I don't buy this Mcdojo **** until you start producing evidence. You probably got snubbed because you came off with an attitude. Do you even know what the definition of a Mcdojo is? Give us a fucking report or shut the **** up.

Oh that's good heaven knows we need a few more fucking lawsuits due to dumbasses such as yourself. Try this for a change, got do some reasearch and provide a fucking opinoin based on that research. We do not pass judgement on schools (though we do reserve the right to ridicule the pictures) based on websites.
Do you have any person experience with this school that has lead you to the conclusion that it is a McDojo?
Do you know any of the instructors or students?
Have you even had the balls to go into their school and sit down and talk with them?
They say first impressions are everything. So guess what kind of first impression you just made here?
Omega, I'm broke right now give zjkd a dollar to go buy a fucking clue please? Thank you.
