may be relocating to North Carolina

I may be relocating to Corolla, NC soon. I have looked at my options as far as training goes, and so far I'm not so impressed. The closest places I have found, besides a Judo club, seem to be mainly TKD. Basically I'm wondering if anyone lives near there and I could train with you or maybe you know of some hidden gym my google-fu can't produce me. It appears that a lot of the closest schools/clubs are in the Virginia Beach area, so if anyone is in that area, it might be possible for me to make that trip from time to time as well.

Tapatalk is being a dick right now and won't let me edit my last post.

But after looking the website of the judo club a second time, I saw it's nowhere near Corolla. I have no idea why it showed up in my search.

That makes my situation all the more desperate. Just thought I'd add that lol.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty new to BS, so could you elaborate on what an active bully community does? I've not been to a TD yet, so I'm pretty confuzzled.

How far from garner, knightdale, and raleigh is corolla?

I think about 2 to 3 hours. I'm not planning to move there for the any more though, the job I was being offered was seasonal and didn't pay enough to pack up and move my daughter and girlfriend.

@SifuJason: I would still appreciate clarification as to what you meant by an active Bully community. I understand what TDs are, is that what you meant?

Not just TDs (but yes), we also do a good bit of investigation in the area, and generally just socialize with each other.

I am about to move to a new building in a few weeks, with a half cage and 2" thick zebra mats Once we are in, I was planning on hosting a "house-warming"/TD. Once I am in, I plan on putting out an announcement, so assume late June, to give everyone enough time to gather.

To OP - Corolla's on the Outer Banks, as I guess you are aware. That's the sticks homie. You're not going to find ****.
