Does this mean the movie will be called Teenage Ninja Turtles? Because I fail to see how the name makes sense for aliens.

This is stupider than making a movie out of the board game Battleship.

I think they will sell a Liam Neeson version of the board game, with alien ships, to try to revitalize the brand, with movie tie in.

Much like I think they will re-market an entire generation of new TMNT toys, but with aliens. Millions of kids will buy this crap, too.

Didn't you see Avatar? Adding aliens is all the rage, just like adding 3D.

He's an alien. Specifically, he is of a race that commissioned the construction of Earth as an immense organic computer, to answer a fundamental, yet unanswerable question about the nature of the universe.

First Transformers, now this. Burn in hell Michael Bay.

Remember when Uwe Boll (of "Postal", "House of the Dead", "Alone in the Dark" infamy) challenged Bay to a boxing match.

I really wish Bay had taken him up on it.

I wouldn't have really rooted for either of them, but every time one of them got punched in their stupid face it would've made me smile.

I am on the fence about Battleship.
Liam Neeson usually delivers, and remember, they made a darn good movie off a Disney theme park ride. I can see it being a decent way to spend $8 and two hours.

As for the Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles, Bay can win my support and my ticket money with one simple manuver:
    Bring back Elias Koteas.

Sadly, that looks better than Transformers, a franchise that was very easy not to screw up. Oh wait its Michael Bay nevermind.

A few years back there was a new version of TMNT on TV. It did a good job ofbalancing the themes/tone of the original comics & the cartoon of mychildhood. The result was a lot like the idea that of the turtles grew up in myhead as I grew up. It was something appropriate for kids, but entertaining foreveryone...**** Michael Bay.
