    I liked the films, but rarely watched the cartoon. The CGI movie was actually pretty damn good. Still, I'm glad TMNT wasn't one of my favorites.

    I remember watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first ever episode. I remember going to the premier of the movie. I remember how disappointed I was that there was no Krang.

    The TV show and movies fucked with the actual mythos of the original graphic novels anyway.

    The original TMNT were never cute or friendly.

    All four were seriously ice cold, thug killing vigilantes.

    Amazon used to list the violent TMNT I graphic novel as "Baby:Preschool" reading level because of the toy marketing tie ins, but the first few pages involves the TMNT slaughtering a rival street gang. You can't make this **** up.

    OH yes, even though Mirage sold its soul to Viacom, I preserved these long ago...
