I know Nick personally and worked with him through a lot of speed bumps in his product (not THE product, but distribution and meeting the production and consumer demands FOR the product) just like he talked me down and through speed bumps when I was managing fighters.
There is a very nitch business side to the sports of MMA and Grappling that almost nobody sees or has to deal with that managers and sponsors have to litteraly sift through on a daily basis and the "trial and error" in the culling through douchbag managers, sponsors, promoters, fighters, etc. to find upstanding above-board people/companies in the industry who will market your product and actually follow through on their "pie in the sky" sales or marketing pitches are actually few and far between. This means you are forced to deal with the douchbags (hell, I introduced him and his product to people who later turned out to be douchbags) who come at you from all angles to get your product in the eye of the general consumer...needless to say, it is a tough business and you end up spinning A LOT of plates.
Nick is a DEVOTED father, husband, and business man who probably works 60 hours a week at his regular job while still being able to put out the absolute best American made grappling gear on the market.
It sucks. Good luck Nick.
