Hey I just saw this when wasting time...

was thinking of posting it in the Ryan Hall vid thread as well but there isn't very much connection .

ANYWHO . . . I just think it would have been funny if someone like this was one the train.
(and as far as self defense/the Ryan Hall vid goes I just think this is a good example of where stating your abilities/line in the sand is simply better than not doing so. EVEN if he hit the aggressor (or if he WAS Ryan Hall took an instant double leg-collar choke . . . it[in my mind] would be 100% defendable in court if for no other reason simply because him stating his threat of self defense shows he was not the instigator)

I've known a couple of women like this. Alcohol is a factor, but at it's root, it's always a matter of imagined invulnerability.

"My father is (insert authority figure), so nobody better **** with me. (Starts **** incessantly)"

"You don't want to fight me, I'm fucking crazy, I'll kick your knee off! (Can't open a soda bottle by herself)."

    etc.

They tend to catch a savage beating eventually.

When I was a teenager, I saw someone pull the "Do you know who my dad is?!?!" and it worked, so I kept it in my authority-scoffing toolkit, despite the fact that my dad has no authority at all. Since then, I've wondered how often its just a bluff.

RE the comments in that video: large groups and inaction actually has to do with a phenomenon known as the bystander effect. Basically, the likelihood of action has an inverse relationship with the number of bystanders.

So you're saying if there were fewer chicks on the train, 1 of them would have got involved?

I think she should be charged for assault. It's bullshit that a woman can walk up to a man and assualt him without any consequences. Even if there's no real damage, men can't walk up to women and start smacking them in the head.

I had to stop a fight like this between two women at the bar the other night. It wa closing time at a small pub and this SUPER dumb woman attacked a bartender that wasn't working that night. My friend grabbed the crazy girl and I put my arms around the bartender and pulled them apart before things got really messy. People seriously do fight over some dumb ****.

After hanging out with this young lady tonight I can report that she has quite the propensity for falling down.
