ummmm
David Avellan is a very high level and accomplished grappler sharing techniques for free online.
We are lucky to have him here
It's not spam. Although this should be posted in the grappling forum, and it should have a sub title wrestling takedown technique so people who don't know who he is don't think it's some RSBD video about actually wrestling with knives. -

Yeah, I'm not questioning his credentials or abilities! And we have bjj black belts posting really good instructional videos for us to watch. But they upload them here.
This post above is asking us to leave this site and go to his site to watch his stuff. How is that not spam? Can't you advertise on the site to do the same thing?Combatives training log.

No debate. Spam or not, is it really that hard to upload the video here? Maybe it is, and I'm being to obstinate about the whole issue. If so, my bad.
And just so you know, the reason I clicked onto the thread is because I actually do want to watch the video. I've done a bunch of knife training, and we train grapling and takedowns specifically with weapons in mind. I was curious if there was differences or not. Or even if I can add improvements to my own techniques.
I just don't like diferting trafic to other sites. To be honest, this is the only martial arts site I frequent because most other piss me off when reading the comments.Last edited by Diesel_tke; 3/14/2012 9:22am at .
