The elk antler grips came in but I am still waiting on the new sights. The Novak rear sight is on back order, so it may be a while. In the meantime, I've put the new grips on.

New sights for my 1911 came in. Narrow tenon ramped Trijicon front night sight and standard GI dovetail Novak rear carry sight. These are designed to fit GI spec slides, so can go on my original Series '70 without modifications to the slide.
Now I need to find time to drive up to Ft. Worth to get Big Dave at Elk Castle to install these for me. I'll post follow up pics once I get her back.Mushi mo atsui hodo

Upgrades to my Series 70
Got my pistol back from Big Dave at Elk Castle yesterday after work. I think the new sights look and work great.
