I wear Old Navy board shorts that I found on sale and my Bullshido T-Shirt when I go train. Otherwise, I wear normal fucking clothes that doesn't advertise me as a "tough guy".

When I train I train in my basement so nobody sees some skinny fat with a big head trying to look tough. :> Regardless of whether my shirt says "Cystic Fibrosis Foundation" or "LDS Youth Camps." Free shirts are cool.

Bad Boy was originally a surf brand in Brazil, but they rebranded themselves as the face of Brazilian Vale Tudo .

I have mixed feelings about the Tap Out brand. Their contribution to MMA in terms of promoting the sport and sponsoring fighters is commendable. The brand also came from 'grassroot' fans of the sport rather than some corporate minion that wanted to diversify a company's athletic apparel line.

On the other side of the coin, the Tap Out brand has become a caricature of martial arts zealots, conjuring up images of painted-faced meatheads walking around with their chests out looking for trouble. Brands are often defined by those who wear it, and let's face it, 85% of those who wear Tap Out look like ass clowns.

Furthermore, I would not wear Tap Out because it begs people to **** with you. Kind of like the fat chick that wears Guess Jeans and your first instinct is to approach her and say, "I don't know.....250........300??

In all honesty Billabong or Ripcurl need to get into MMA wear.
I have a billabong rashguard. Granted, it's a surf rashie - but these things are multipurpose.

I have a delusional belief that wearing shirts from the various gyms and clubs I trained at makes me less of a douchebag than someone wearing other more generic MMA gear. I don't mind too much as long as other people me as less douchbaggy. hahhaha

Wearing your gyms' brands advertises the schools. That's awesome. Brings in new students.
