Bob Sapp is such a pathetic bag of guts now..what a sad performance.

This just came to me: Is Bob Sapp's ridiclous losing streak part of some ingenious plan? I wonder...

I got the impression, since apparently he has a lot of other fights coming up, that he didn't want to risk an injury. At this stage in his career, a no show might mean no pay.

Yeah, his recent performances are the most blatant examples of "fighting just for the paycheck" I've ever seen.

So sad I couldn't see this inaugural event, what with China and its youtube blocking and all.

Yeah. Bob Sapp has pretty well admitted that he takes dives. Fight organizations should stop signing this guy on.

I was thinking something along the lines of a Guinness record or material for an upcoming drama documentary... a dramumentary.

I don't understand why Sapp still gets fights. I'm not typically a fighter-basher but MAN he sucks. Like 6-7 first round finishes in a row? Yuck.

Money, I guess. Which is odd, because if there's one person in MMA who's managed to market himself successfully to a wider crowd, it's Bob Sapp.

Still, his heyday was almost a decade ago. Maybe he spent all his hard-earned yen on gold-plated hookers and blow and now has to fight chumps for chump change.

In the likely event that most of you missed the second SFL event:

Next headliner is James Thompson vs. Bobby Lashley. I'm really glad to see the promotion has shifted focuse to building up homegrown Indian fighters rather than flashy heavyweight spectacles.

Hoping Thompson pulls this one out, though.

I know James Thompson I remember when I first met him, the guy is a giant, and actually a really nice bloke. He got me and a few of my mates a ringside table at one of the Tourneys he fought at...I have to say it wasnt that impressive, he ended up losing in the semi's and I just remember thinking he was so incredibly slow.

I personally think if he has a decent nutritionist and fitness coach in his corner, he could do well.

Its crazy how much he gets paid to fight though, and most of his fights dont go beyond the first round.
