I haven't seen the particular Mark Cheng video you're asking about, but he played a big part in Kettlebells From The Ground Up, which is quite an excellent tutorial on doing get ups. I think it's fairly safe to assume things with his name on them are generally quite good.
I am personally a fan of everything I've seen done with Brett Jones, but that might be because he works a ton with Gray Cook, whose work I admire greatly.
I would be wary about older Pavel videos because he has changed his mind a number of times on a number of things. I think that's incredibly awesome as a person, but that does make some of his stuff a bit outdated. -

Mark is a great guy and knows his stuff with Kettlebells.
You should also check out my friend David Whitley, another RKC instructor.
You could also check out anything by Steve Cotter as well.
Good people who have the skills to back it up.

Can anyone recommend a good retard proof kettlebell routine. I'm a little more than half way through the "Enter the Kettlebell" work book written by Anthony Dilugio designed to lay out a specific intro kettlebell routine for Pavel's "ETK" book.
I like Pavel's in depth description of technique and theory but at times he can offer too many options for a beginner. I need a structured kb routine to follow once I finish the Anthony Dilugio workbook. I forget what he suggests to do next after finishing the 11 week program but I'm open to ideas. I like programs like stronglifts that tell me what to do, when to increase difficulty, and when to switch it up and what to switch it up with. -
