I constantly use sacrifice throws against people that are bigger than me and good at shoot defense.

Caveats: this is for sub grappling and BJJ. I wouldn't sacrifice throw in MMA or on t3h str33ts. Not because it doesn't work but because I am not confident enough in MY sacrifice throws
