Yeah, basically, Left underhook, left side of head. The other arm (in this example right) should be free to dive for an ankle pick if he kicks outta the single leg.

I feel like I got a sweet deal, learn wrestling without having to wear a singlet.
You just made my fucking day. Lol. I don't know, my last opponents girlfriend or sister or something seemed to like me in a singlet haha.

Why yes, I am also a feverish communist, drink a **** ton of vodka, get in street fights contantly, have family in the Russian mob, an older brother in Spetnaz, a younger brother who sells heroin, a grandfather in the KGB, and finally my grade in every one of my academic classes is 140%.

You are very welcome. Remember, if you lose the single, so what. Get the angle working and slam their ass. They won't resist another single leg. Also, practice getting your same side leg as your underhook behind their leg. Then duck your head inside, drop down a little, run the pike/treetop/ dive for an opposite leg ankle pick, the possiblities are endless.

Also, if your opponent is retarded and pushes your head down and forgets to whizzer.....hit the ankle pick on the leg you were gonna single. Its like our coach says: THERE IS NO MERCY IN THIS WRESTLING ROOM.

If you are gonna use it, and have problems, message me, and I'll send you a link to a video which I will make guiding you through it.

Tried it, was successful. Managed to hook my leg on the same side of the underhook round their ankle when my partner tried to shoot his leg back once and toppled him. Also tried freeing up my non-underhook arm and shooting that between his legs to grab the single, by turning out then back in.

I've done judo all my life, so leg grabbing takedowns are foreign to me. I've got an ex-hs wrestler to practice with and I'm learning. Sometimes though, all we get to train on is hardwood, and my knees are missing quite a bit of skin now. I've got to learn though! :)

Hardwood sucks, cement sucks worse. I had to wear a knee pad for half the season this year because I practiced on cement and bruised my patellar bone.

I am glad this worked for you, its my go to takedown in folkstyle matches because of the sheer contingency. In freestyle, though, the head and arm is my go to move.

Did not realize bruising bone was a possibility. I'm going to get kneepads for the next time I'm on hardwood.
