I was asked to list them and you don't have to help me, this thread is aimed at those who do.
I believe this the the correct forum for my thread... Can anyone tell me about Sifu Larry Rice and/or his school? His school website is http://www.mountainmartialartsacademy.com/ Any help would be much appreciated. I've never done any martial arts before and this is the only school near me that looks like it might actually be legit.
Welcome to Newbietown. Feel free to ask your questions here.
I don't know about that school, but you should search the forums to get a general opinion on WC.Its not considered the best choice for fighting.
What do you want to get out of martial arts? What is your motivation to train?
I would like a good fighting art, but I'm also really into the Chi Na concept. The school I'm looking at also offers JKD, Kali, Muay Thai, but it's expensive at $20 per 2 hour session. There's only 2 sessions a week and it's pretty expensive to try and pursue multiple martial art because the schedule is as follows: Tue. Wing Chun Thurs. JKD/Kali, I'm not sure where the Muay Thai comes into play, this is all the info I could gather from the site. What makes you say Wing Chun is not good as a fighting art? Everyone else that talks about it swears by it.
You know what? You have a newbietown thread asking the same things.

I started that after you said what you did here. The only reason it's in Newbietownis because the topics posted for these forums are confusing and apparently asking questions about a school review doesn't go in the school review forum....
Also just type Wing Chun/g in the search function, then read and marvel at the bullshit. Welcome to the site by the way.
He is bouncing from thread to thread because he is impatient. I guess I'm going to merge them all because they are all in the same vein.
Ppl in my area
Tai Chi and Wing Chun
