There is NO WAY any small claims court will uphold a contract with a martial arts school that is impossible to cancel. No way. Just order a stop payment and tell them to eat a dick, they're trying to **** you over. Better yet, tell your dad to do it, since apparently he signed the thing.

Let me be completely clear. You signed one 15 month contract, it ended and now your family signed another one? Otherwise I'm just not grasping the cancellation fee if the contract is up and it is fraud IMO. I've heard of automatic re-bill month to month until you sign a new one.

My contract is not up. To further clarify, I trained there for a year, and then I did the "upgrade for sparring" contract. I have 10 months left out of a 15 month contract. It might end up being 2 years, because of my wrestling injuries they keep tacking on "free training time."

Holy **** what? They charge extra for sparring? If you can't train they add extra months or did you tell them to freeze your account? There is a huge difference between the two. One is on you and your family. The other is straight up unethical IMO.
