Wing Chun Kung Fu Vs Grappling, Punches and Kicks

We train in basic grappling for self defense purposes, however we are encouraged to train under professional grappling coaches if we wish to compete in MMA.

    Anyone seen this!

I see more excuses "lucky it was against an untalented mma fighter blah blah". Swallow your pride for just one minute and accept that the Kung Fu guy was valid competition.

    Aikido VS Taekwondo

What i don't get is when these guys are facing kickers why do they move back allowing the kicker to recoup and kick again?. After the first kick has been avoided/blocked move forwards so he has no time to kick again.

Wouldn't it be more prudent to train under a pro for the streetz as your life may be in danger?
"Won't fight me in the ring? Don't fight me on the street."
    Paraphrased from Bullshido.

Well, ignoring that, the video you responded to in the "Chunner wins fight" thread wasn't even up. This is the video that's supposed to be there:

    The title was a joke.

How can there be a next stage? you make it sound like Bruce Lee realised the Chun was limited and was forced to ammend it to make it effective!
