tgace thanks for the awnser. ny gun laws bother me to no end! The debacle over mags is uncalled for. For instance I had previously read that if there is no date stamp then the manufacture date would be determined by componet design. So would that mean I can't change out the followers in a pre ban mag? If I could get my family to go I would just move!
I purchased my first AR-15 about 2 years ago and loved it so much I bought a pre ban 2 months later. I don't know how I ever lived without them.

cost me 570 before I added the troy rail.

For about 50 more you can rock a chrome lined bore from PSA. This one only has the nitrided barrel. It has never failed on my using brass, but I do have some premature wear around the gas rings. Well, I sold it to a friend anticipating a move to CA, and he tells me there is gas ring wear.

Top is my wife's carbine. Iron sights.
Middle is my Bushmaster Dissapator w/ACOG, Mapgul access, and single point sling
Bottom is another carbine with an EOTECH and three point

And about a jillion rounds of ammo.

I have a BCM 16" midlength upper with a BCM bolt/carrier and "Gunfighter" charging handle on top of a Bushmaster lower. Stock is an ACE ARFX-E entry stock that I found too short so I put in a DPMS extender:

The optic is an Eotech 512 on a La Rue riser so I can get a lower third co-witness. I find that with an H2 buffer this set-up runs very smooth.

I recently changed the Ergo grip to a Magpul MOE.
