I don't care that he has created this physique for himself. Any negative side effects that the HGH will give him are irrelevant when you consider his advanced age.

Implying that everyone else's excuses are invalid? Now that's a little silly. This man has made millions selling a quasi-legal substance under quasi-legal circumstances and pitching it as the ultimate healthy lifestyle.

He started using HGH when he was in his mid-sixties, in order to win a "body for life" prize from Bill Phillips (google that guy for some fun reading). Illegally. The fact that the hormones allowed him to work out more often and with less injury than anyone else his age, while enhancing the results of said workouts artificially, worked very well for him. Then he simply monetized the model and started posing with his shirt off. He hardly motivates when you know the whole story.

Grabbing some HGH when you are sixty-five and hitting the weights three times a week is hardly inspiring. Getting to the gym and blasting yourself every day of your adult life to ultimately end up at 70 with what can only be described as insane strength is far more compelling.

It sounds to me like Mr. Life is in better shape AND smarter than most people his age. Mid-sixties sounds like the perfect time to start juicing since you can reap the benefits and it's probably too late for the side effects to kill you.

Just trolling a bit, honestly. I know next to nothing about HGH. I'm just generally in favor of whatever keeps you from shriveling into a crippled old pile of skin when you get old, even if it is illegal.

My only point is that he doesn't really motivate. If I went on HGH I could accomplish a lot more with less work, too.

Someday I could be as attractive as Mickey Rourke or Sylvester Stallone...

I'm not entirely sold on the evils of HGH or steroids. What with all of the perfectly legal substances we consume for pleasure (alcohol/tobacco) with as bad if not worse health consequences.

Im no expert either, and as they are illegal I'm not suggesting it's OK to use them. But I have to wonder if it's the unprescribed, unsupervised and questionable source use of them that is the danger, vs. the actual substance itself. Much like how alcohol, in moderation is harmless...

The thing I contemplate about this stuff is that...when used properly...it can grant benefits as seen here. At times I wonder if the steroid issue isnt more about some concept of "fair play" than it is of actual danger in its use.

I agree. I wouldn't use the **** because I don't want to take medication that was (A) designed for horses or (B) cooked up in a campus apartment by some degenerate with a 75 IQ.

It seems like there must be a way to use it to increase the quality of life as you age. But I was just calling someone an idiot in another thread for half-assed medical knowledge so I'll stop short of calling the medical community a bunch of retards.

Well **** that guy if he's peddling BS, but his accomplishment is still impressive.
