I am not at all familiar with Navy operations, but another member here posted the following.

To your knowledge, is or was there a SEAL Team 3? This never came up in my communication with Don Shipley, and I don't want to seem like a pest and bug the **** out of him.

Below are the Army MOS's that fall into the Supply and Logistics Field:
    92A - Automated Logistical Specialist
    92F - Petroleum Supply Specialist
    92G - Food Service Specialist
    92L - Petroleum Laboratory Specialist
    92M - Mortuary Affairs Specialist
    92R - Parachute Rigger
    92S - Shower/Laundry and Clothing Repair Specialist
    92W - Water Treatment Specialist
    92Y - Unit Supply Specialist
    92Z - Senior Noncommissioned Logistician

I don't think these apply to Department of the Navy or USMC. I had two Marines in my (52C) AIT class; they were MOS 1161.

I know some EOD guys that have "served on a seal team" they don't go around bragging about it nor ever claim to be seals. Hell the Seals I know rarely claim to be seals. I always find it very suspicious when anyone makes an effort to let you know that they are or where a Seal always almost always a red flag. I guess that has already been determined. I would say its fairly safe to say though this guy whom has already been caught up in a bunch of other lies is very very very unlikely to have been a SEAL.
Lets face it SEALS have actually accomplished something they tend to not have a psychological need to BS about **** they havn't done.

This is likely due to the fact that they have a great deal of personal integrity.

The fact that he intentionally misleads people in the first place would put him outside of that brotherhood of honorable men.

    This goes without saying.

Well, oddly enough, I am in the CWW. But I can't even find myself by searching my name. If I log into the site I am there. But in either case, a CWW membership means nothing except you paid the fee to join and be a part of the business community there. It is pure marketing...which is why I did it.

    Probably a Necro-Thread But

This is probably a necro-thread by now, but I knew this guy back in the eighties, if anyone wants some information cleared up. Though he's a good guy and a capable martial arts instructor, I don't think its possible that he was in the NFL or in SEAL's.
