    If thats all you think there is to boxing then you don't understand boxing! There is a lot more to learning boxing than learning 4 punches.

    haha dont worry bro i'm fine. karate is my primary art and when i said it is not a quick study compared to others I was speaking to my own experience. I take it thats why its not the most common mma striking base.

    I think what he's trying to say is with boxing, you don't have to master it for years for it to be effective in real life. In real life, sometimes all it takes is a couple of punches.

    To answer the TS question, I know how you feel. I used to train in both boxing and Muay Thai. I dropped Muay Thai because I always find myself attempting to knee my sparring partner.

    And since his style field says "full contact", I would assume KK or KK offshoot, in which case he should know that.
