Style: Boxing--
I think what he's trying to say is with boxing, you don't have to master it for years for it to be effective in real life. In real life, sometimes all it takes is a couple of punches.
To answer the TS question, I know how you feel. I used to train in both boxing and Muay Thai. I dropped Muay Thai because I always find myself attempting to knee my sparring partner. -
