This Fox UFC coverage is GREAT for the sport

There I said it. The Fox production value, using suited Jones and Couture next to Menefee at the sports desk adds a touch of professionalism and legitimacy to the sport. Not to mention airing for free on one of the most watched television stations in the US is huge for viewership.

here in minnesota on fox the local news followed up directly after the fight with a bit on mma for the first news spot

Jones was TERRIBLE...stick to elbows bud. Randy was really good.

I'm still on the fence with the coverage.

I was a bit disappointed there was not more post fight analysis, they did the key to victory thing but only really went back to Couture and Jones after the last fight, would have been good to see how the post fight analysis matched up to the pre fight keys, also I think Couture was pretty good (was smiling about how they wedged the ear bud into his ear :)

Randy was great. Jones sucked. Both were better than Lesnar.
