I gotta say, I was impressed the guy kept getting up and continuing to fight, it seemed clear he was out of his depth, but he kept walking back to that line every time.

Good on him. We've all taken beatings in the past, and if you haven't then you suck and you need to train harder sand baggers!

Wow, This reminds me of what I was like... Trained GKR through til black belt then eventually quit. Went to a SanDa class and got the **** absolutely kicked, thrown and punched out of me. Props to him for carrying on and admitting to at least some crosstraining.

    yeah, kid was super tough.

kept coming back for his beating, even when you saw the mma guy get annoyed and try to make him break.

will serve him well when he does muay thai.

...and then started training San Da, if your style field is to be believed. Good on you.

Was his one-sided asskicking of that other guy not artful enough for you?

The only credit you can really give the kid is that he got in there and took his beating like a man, and didn't back down from it one bit. That being said...what kind of idiot goes out of his way to challenge an MMA/Muay Thai fighter? More than that, you could tell the kid had no idea of what it's like hitting something with power, he kept on going in for point sparring hits...just wasn't working (obviously).

But like I said, bravo to him for not bitching out...although can be construed as stupidity or bravery...take your pick...

Clearly that's the most important thing.
