Basic stretching question:
Can anyone steer me towards a *video* showing the correct technique for a side leg raise dynamic stretch?

I cannot for the life of me do one properly. No matter how I try to position myself, I'm getting sharp pain and what feels like bone-on-bone resistance in the hip of whichever leg I'm raising when I try.

I've read in a few places that tilting your hips is key, esp. in Thomas Kurz's "Stretching Scientifically" and his online columns, but I'm evidently unable to understand some subtlety of how to do it. And his little stick man drawing from http://stadion.com/column_stretch06.html isn't helping me visualise it in the slightest...

Perhaps if I can see moving footage of an actual human being doing it, I might see where I'm going wrong. Damned if I can find any of this particular stretch on YouTube, though.
