Bisping has improved; I was impressed with his ability to deal with Sonnen's wrestling. He also fought at a high pace for the entire fight and was aggressive with his standup.
Sonnen is going to get tooled badly in the standup when he rematches Silva if he couldn't get the better of Bisping on the feet. I'm completely convinced now his somewhat decent showing in the first fight's standup was a fluke and/or really was due to injury. -

I knew the fight would be called like that.
I think the decision probably should have gone to Bisping but I think its just another case of takedowns getting scored too highly.
(how else could you justify giving Chael either round 1 or 2?)
Either way I think Michael proved that he is among the very best at 185lbs.
Damien Maia looked horrible again. Another high level BJJ guy deciding to start a new career as a mediocre kickboxer.
Evans looked pretty good. Im looking forward to the Jones fight now. -

May I mention when Sonnen fought Silva the 1st time, he had almost 17x a normal man's testosterone in his body? He got hyper-revved and still lost.
Having to fight without that, must be hard, against someone like AS. It's tough **** though, you're not supposed to cheat. I'm now looking forward to the rematch, to watch Anderson tool him, and practically retire the guy, with such a fierce and overwhelmingly drawn-out, sustained, prolonged dance-beating of a nature so epic, that Sonnen's nuts will hide in his bladder, until he's 65.Last edited by bobyclumsyninja; 1/29/2012 2:58pm at . Reason: almost 17, so it's ok
