I felt Bisping/Sonnen could have been called either way. The first two rounds felt like (I've not gone back and watched them, so it's first impressions) they could go either way, the third round was more decisively Sonnen (though it's kind of sad that Bisping landed more convincing ground and pound in a few seconds than Sonnen did the entire round.)
Also, I'm disappointed that Phil Davis is clearly not ready to hang with the guys at the top. He needs work on the fluidity of his striking, he needs to be better able to gauge distance, and he needs to set up his takedowns. Still Rashad did not really impress in terms of showing anything for Jon Jones to worry about. -

Agreed. And I hate Bisping. But he clearly deserved the W tonight.
Aside from that, did anyone else almost fall asleep watching? What the hell happened to Davis in the 1st round? Starting in the second he looked like he was exhausted or in shock or something. Had his mouth open from then on. Also how does he put his hand between Rashad's legs two more times after the first time got him in the crucifix? Maybe he was a bit starstruck or something...Anyways, I thought he could have done much better. -

Davis looked okay in round 1, but he started gassing in round 2 and was just completely out of the fight from 3 onwards. He's still got a bunch of growing up to do. Also, did anyone else check out how Rashad's checks busted his leg open?
Sonnen had better step his game WAY the hell up if he thinks he's beating Silva, to say nothing of the dubious call. His standup was ****, and Bisping managed to counter his wrestling pretty effectively for most of the first two rounds. And I continue to be amazed that people seem to think he's got charisma. Listening to him yammer after the fight was like watching the Rock, just completely absent of any kind of personality. He just sounds like a pro wrestling reject. -

Well, if there is going to be a bad call, I prefer Bisping to be the receiver of the bad call!
