Even if he found some sort of Association that handed out ranks based on time served principle (lets face it there are some out there), he would have only received his 7th Dan surely??? A part from that, what is that * after Shoto-kan???

    See here

Do you think that the IOTF awarded the rank in "Original" TKD and cross-ranked him?

Boy that black belt test was awesome. Where do I queue to get one for me? I could do this without ever having trained. Might as well get my girlfriend to come in and get a BB...

This guy is a living legend! I'm shocked any of you would consider him a fraud. He practically taught Count Dante to be a killing machine. Any self-respecting martial artist would chop off his best dragon punching arm to have 5 minutes with this guy.

Yeah, we don't do dragon punches though. All of the titles etc. can be easily researched (if anyone bothers). Overall he is a little over the top and google-fu really gives me nothing but self-promoted pages. But to each his own.

No one said he was a fraud. Just that he is so full of **** that it is sloshing all over my internets.

I've heard that Tang Soo Do is just the Korean rip off of Shotokan Karate. Is this true?

Digging around on Google Maps for the address on the Craiglist posting reveals that someone tagged the address with 'Main Event Martial Arts Academy'. Google street view only shows some empty buildings, a discount electrical store and an office for an engineering company.

This is the site for the 'academy' http://www.maineventma.com/About-Us.html. Don't bother clicking on the 'Home' button cos it's just a pointless 30 second video of nothing.
