How to get there by plane

Airport Brussels (Zavemtem), than by train from the airport:
! Don't take the airport "Brussels South", because that's the Belgian City of Charleroi (3 hours by bus from the capital Brussels)!

How to get there by train

Brussel - Leuven: one-way-ticket train 2nd class is € 5

Best is to buy a one-way-ticket from Brussels to Leuven and the second day when you return you buy an one-way-ticket to Brussels, because a two-way-ticket is exactly the double, but you have to use it on the same day.

Train from Brussels to Leuven is easy: there are 3 stations in Brussel, South, Central and North. Get on a train in one of these stations, once you have passed the 3 Brussels stations, the next one is Leuven (takes about 22 à 26 minutes).

For train tickets: on the week-ends you can get a week-end ticket which you can use from Friday 19:00 'till Sunday 23:59 (to and fro) and which costs about as normal one-way fare.

Looks like i am going to have to back out chaps.

Im extremely busy at work and going to Canada to watch UFC in 21st September and wont have the time to get to Belgium as well.

Seriously, too bad. Would have enjoyed to have that chocolate shake with you that we could not have last year. (Reading a book "Belgium, Land of Chocolate" this week. Seems some integral part of the Belgarian culture was lost to me last year.)

I can probably attend on friday and saturday. Have a bit of a date on saturday night though so... Probably won't be joining for glorious beers and fun fair shenanigans.

Edit: should I bring a heavy Gi vest? Or will the grappling be no Gi?

I prefer gi, but you can bring both of course :)
