what is the fastest way to learn how to fight?

I took it from some overly complicated technique, but think this part could actually work

so...

*a person is with his face very close to you, intimidating you, talking threats etc but without a real fighting stance, basically in heatbutt range with arms flailing

*this range is very annoying to me

*what about

*one hand in the face, one hand in the back of the head, sudden twisting movement to turn the person around, then rear naked choke

would this work?

I tried this on my BJJ trained friend, I told him stand in front of me and act like that

and I did it to him, asked him if it could actually work, he was pretty surprised and said it was a sweet move

what do you guys think about it?

I went to a judo school, completely untrained in the grappling arts and I tossed blue and brown belts all over the place because they were weak or bad at judo

regardless i never went back, seemed like a waste of time

realistic knife defense = armor suit

real knife attacks are in grappling range and the knife doesn't come out before the attack and is rarely seen before it is felt

so I don't know how to explain it, it is often seen in silat techniques, where they parry a strike and then put one palm in the face turning it and then pulling the back of the head/the hair from the other side turning the head, this is very strong and cannot be resisted

but the question is can it be done in the first place?
