i bought nitrotech once at the local gnc, and even if i found it to be a good protein(helps with soreness day after, increased strength, no gas). i found it to be a bit pricey($60-$75) and just not up paying that much. anyone takes good, cheap(but not too cheap) protein brand?

I like a product called "GROW!" now available exclusively on www.t-mag.com for about $22 for 2 lbs.
It's better than whey because it's a blend of whey, milk isolates, and casein protein. It also tastes VERY GOOD for a protein powder. It's the only PP that tastes good mixed in just cold water.
Try it, you'll love it...
is a Godd*mn Federale!

Designer Whey is relatively cheap and is the best tasting powder I've tried.

I used to buy Designer until I discovered Grow. No comparison.

Heard about this stuff: http://www.allthewhey.com/
Haven't tried it but it's supposed be great. It's also really cheap.

I get my whey protein at Trader Joes, in chocolate flavor. It's nummy. I have no idea whose whey they are repackaging, but I do recommend it, if a Trader Joes is in your area.
I would liken it to the boxing or the muay thai of internal kung fu, even though that's like calling apples the oranges of the apple world. --WalkOn

I'm using Isoflex from Allmax right now. Anyone else try this? I picked it up because it's got a good profile, with a glutamine complex, among other things. The flavour is pretty good and the powder dissolves so well that I don't even need to stir it; I just trace small circles with the glass as I fill it.
