LHC finds chi, my head explodes.
Okay, so it's been so long since I posted a new thread that I actually forgot how...
LHC finds new particle:
So apart from the unfortunate naming scheme, lending a false sense a validation to ninjers everywhere, I actually think this is pretty exciting.
I wonder if should I start saving up for a hoverboard yet...
It is exciting, but in an almost-totally useless sense. They failed to mention that Dilman has already discovered chi by using a thermal imaging camera. That would be enough to wipe the smile off the face of Prof Brian Cox.
The better result from CERN is the faster than the speed of light neutrinos. Time travel baby!
Exciting stuff! Personally, I'm still waiting for the OPERA Neutrino anomaly (muon neutrino's going faster than the speed of light) to be confirmed. T2K in Japan are currently preparing their independent tests!
We're closer than you think!
