Any Ohio throwdowns, specifically NE ohio?

Been watching some videos on youtube, and i came across the throwdown videos. They look like a good way to test yourself and make some friends that are like minded :)

One of my biggest regrets from my shotokan training is we never really god to spar much, so i'd like the chance to change that. Afterall, what other way can you see if your art works than to test it out?

If here's any of these ever held near warren/girard/niles/cortland/howland/austintown ohio, please let me know :D

If you come around the Toledo area, for whatever reason, send me a message and I'll work out with you a bit. I wouldn't call it a formal throwdown, but I'll spar, roll, whatever and I know a couple good places with decent beers and whiskey.

heh fair enough :) With the piece of **** car i have i'm not able to travel particularly far though which is why i was hoping there was one a bit closer heh, but i might just take you up on that :D And who knows, maybe someone else will see this thread and stop in and suggest a closer place :)

Yeah, unfortunately I really don't know many martial artists in the Cleveland/Canton area or I'd try to hook you up.

ah i don't think i'll have much luck in this regard unless the site sets one up around me :( What i'd really love to do is have all the people from my old shotokan school come to one and just beat the hell out of them, a lot of them need a wake up call and would deserve it lol.

Anyways we'll see what happens, maybe i'll get lucky and one of the mods will see this and recommend something :)

If this happens I'm down. I'm at the bottom of the map but I'd be willing to travel a couple for a TD. PlusI got family in the cle area so anywhere around there would be good with me.

hey forgot about this thread heh.

I'm still down for a TD if people are, personally for me given my work schedule and limited transportation, somewhere around warren/niles/cortland/girard/howland, any of those areas would work best for me.

I'm just looking to meet up with like minded people, probably get knocked around a little bit and try to learn :D
