Well still can't understand it. Luke is setting up satellite schools here in the U.S. and recently made a claim about showing Raw Combat at the TAPOUT gym in Vegas. The guy will talk and incredible amount of **** about MMA and BJJ, but will still show up at a MMA school kiss ass and try to scare up some business.
Here is some on the **** that’s coming out of the Maryland chapter. http://www.youtube.com/user/RawCombatMidAtlantic
The Brazil chapter
I still can’t figure out how this guy can afford to travel so much. I mean only 2000 people like his page on Facebook. In addition, most of his videos never break 3000 views unless he names them something misrepresentative like Military (CQC) Combatives!!!! , STREET FIGHT!!!! , or POLICE FIGHTING GANG!!!! It’s always total bullshit, but I guess there is one thing people can learn from Luke Holloway, it's how to use the internet to mass market yourself and the power of networking.
When you consider his channel http://www.youtube.com/user/TeamWuJin , all you’re going to see self-aggrandizing crap, misinformation, shameless self-advertising, and just all around bad/useless techniques. It’s pretty crazy that the channel has 19656 subscribers’ and 27,544,946 video views. When there are channels out there like http://www.youtube.com/user/GracieBreakdown where you can get really in depth analysis, demonstrations of fantastic techniques (that are proven to work), and just all around great information from people who know what they’re talking about. When you contrast the Gracie’s channel (18,186 subscribers 1,220,155 video views) with Luke’s (19656 subscribers’ and 27,544,946) you’ll see a huge difference. Luke might have 26,324,791 more views than then the Gracie’s, but his channel has been up for something like six years. Whereas the Graciebreakdown has only been up for less than a year, also the Graciebreakdown only has 24 videos out where Luke as 378. When you take into account the drastic difference in the quality of content and the respectability of the parties concerned, I think this raises some interesting questions about what sells in the MA world and what doesn’t. I think reality based systems like MMA or BJJ do not appeal to the type of people that would attend a Rawcombat seminar. Luke is successful at marketing a fantasy Image and a system that has no base in reality. There are always going to be people interested in buying that short of crap.

1. WALL OF TEXT
2. Don't post this sort of drivel into an investigative thread unless you're capable of articulating yourself better than that and you actually have a point to make other than you fail to understand.
3. WALL OF TEXT
4. Read the stickies relating to posting in MABS, next time the infractions start.

Dave, I argue that the various video links are valuable simply to show that this guy has established affiliates and is therefore worthy of instruction. Would you mind if I copied the text, trimmed it down to those affiliate links, and reposted in the thread as a resource?
