I actually found Bullshido looking for information on lifting as it pertained specifically to martial arts. What I found was that most boards repeated trite and inaccurate information (e.g. high weights, only body weight exercises, lifting makes you slow etc.). McDojo ended up being the place I liked best. Even here though there was a dearth of valid information until the dawn of the age of FingerOrMoon, while I didn't always agree with him I recognized that he wasn't talking out of his ass.
For the topic of this thread, search this forum for specific training methods of martial artists. There are some for Frank Mir and others. Omega,as an actual fighter, also has made good posts on the topic.
I'll try and post an article by one Micah Nathan that is also incredibly insightful and of great help particularly to n00bs. -
