Nice!! Let's see how he fares on the World Combat Sambo Championship this year.

It's so much more convenient for fans of mma to dismiss him, when the reality is that he's a very heavy-duty guy, who did lose three-in-a-row, but kept on, and has shown he's very dangerous still, and not the guy to bet against. I don't believe the UFC to have had the premier heavyweights for any span yet, so it pains me to hear people harp the "oh he's the UFC this-or-that so he's the best automatically" line about guys who haven't won wars.

Overeem, Barnett, Fedor, none of whom have spent any great length of time in the UFC are definitely among the best HW's in the game IMO. DW needs to swallow his pride, and make another overture to Fedor's camp. This needs to happen. If I'm not mistaken, zuffa wanted to sign Ishii, and Fedor schooled him. Get this done, while there's time.

Looks like his brother gave it to him, in the finals. Ah brothers.

Looks as though Ishii may have suffered a cerebral edema during the fight with Fedor. Not confirmed, that I'm aware of, but that's the rumor.
