Mexico has a very established and longstanding boxing culture, while Brazil is obviously the birthplace of Gracie jiu-jitsu. Hence, Dos Santos used jiu-jitsu to defeat Velasquez.I thought this was settled already: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/show...=1#post2630461 -

Brock has a real problem in this fight in that he only has one real weapon: his double-leg. If Overoids can trains the **** out of defending this attack, and can do it successfully, Brock is hosed. Brock has also shown trouble holding down some opponents, such as Couture and Velasquez. I don't think this one pans out in Brock's favor.
