It seemed like Nog tapped immediately after Mir broke it.Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

Machida loss a win for karate...sort of
In that loss to Jones I think Machida's karate was validated. He was the first fighter to get to jones using pure Shotokan.
Jones is a great fighter and Im not taking anything from his clear win. He ended up tagging Machida and choking him silly.
What I take from the fight however is the first guy that can go a few rounds with Jones striking will KO him.

I guess the difference is machida didn't seem as bothered by taking the punches.
kind of puzzles me how jones can be so dominant and supreme but still look so vulnerable when defending.
he looks like he's panicking when punches come his way, in the match against rampage as well, much less so against shogun.

I think both Mir/Nog and Jones/Machida could have gone either way. Nog and Machida were both dominating their fights.
There were some great preliminaries, too. Jake "The Moustache" Hamman will be changing his nom de guerre to "Glass Jaw," after Constantinos Phillipou found Hamman's button 7 times before putting him out for good. That was my favorite, but I also enjoyed Clarke/Cholish and Attonito/Hecht. Also, I guess we're in for a new round of TKD is teh deadlies after the Chan Sung Jung KO.
Does anyone else think that Ebersole tapped, but the ref missed it?

My dislike for Mir is growing exponentially every time I see him fight, talk, or exist.
