Even in 1993 the UFC knew enough to put a fence around the fight area. Vale Tudo had ropes. It's like they rented "Bloodsport" and then decided make a fight org. Unless forcing your opponent out of bounds is somehow scoreable I can't see continuing this on an open mat.
All goofing aside I like this trend of other countries like China and Taiwan starting their own MMA leagues. I'd like to see something of a resurgence of Cold War rivalry between the US and the Soviets replaced by Chinese. The MMA themed remake of "Rocky 4" alone would be worth it
The polo shirt and Dockers are a nice touch too. Combat casual. -

**** dude you know how many years we've been looking for this in my old style? This came on TV with someone who owned one of those huge Satellite dishes. After a while I thought it was just Bullshit.

No, these fights are from the last few years. The 1993 in the thread title is a reference to the year in which the first UFC was held, as the hilariously awful first fight video looked like something from that event.
