It's obvious he'll never be considered amongst the elite, but I'll be damned if he didn't deserve to win both those fights.
Oh certainly. He's definitely been (decision) robbed even more in his career. I feel for the guy for that very reason. He should be mentioned in your other thread.

Well I like Pudz. You can see he's trying his best. I can't blame him for the surrounding promoters, just like I can't blame say umm Alistair for winning his K1 by easy fights (smashed up Saki & smashed up Aerts). That's Circumstances.
EDIT: Also robbed against Yusuke Kawaguchi.

Probably doesn't have a lot of partners. I've come across guys that will only take instruction from people who can kick their ass.
I trained at 'Londonshootfighters' a few years back and he was there. They do have some decent heavyweights (Carlos Vermola, Mustapha al Turk..) but I dont think Thompson stayed training there very long. He's now training at some little gym in Bristol, I cant imagine he has alot of training partners of Pudz's size to spar with.
