Huh, they're critically acclaimed, but are they actually any use?

Didn't Grim Fandango come out when I was 9, like 13 years ago?

There have definitely been better and more recent games since then although they may not have reached Eastern Europe yet, where 'Dig up the potato' is still the number one fun activity.

I missed a few dlc packs for ME2. Any "must plays" in that bunch?

I play the PC, xbox, ps3, and wii from time to time.

Retired Skyrim and SR3rd most recently.

was playing WOW and SW:tor for a minute but cancelled subs.

downloaded APB reloaded for some free ****, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Went back to school and don't have much time for games atm (or training much either unfortunately)

    Lair of the Shadow Broker.

Bioware has the best writing of any game studio as far as I am concerned. They've made compelling stories and characters in game after game, for years. Their games are much better written than most of the crap that passes for movies these days. And, ME 2 was probably the greatest game I've ever played. I love the characters. In Lair of the Shadow Broker, you get to catch up with L'iara--one of my favorites.

ST:tor is a bit inconsistent--but they also had to write eight separate class stories with five companions each.

    I'll check it out. Thanks.

As far as SW:tor, I was enjoying the game for the most part. I agree Bioware is great at story telling. Since I operate on many different consoles, I don't have the best PC for gaming though and my frames per second is a challenge in itself for tor. Some places are fine but I tired quickly of lagfest planets.

In fact I bought witcher 2 for PC and can't even play it unless I turn the resolution down to the point where its unenjoyable.
