    Hell yeah! Hell no!

anyone heard of these supreme masters of the masters

Just checked and this did not show in any search on Bullshido. Has anyone heard of the Song Do Kwan Kong Soo Do and Grandmaster John M Crudup. (no, non of that is made up)
    http://usdka.weebly.com/index.html

There is a list longer than your arm of grandmasters of various arts. (And none i have heard of). And the best bit is this association has awarded Soke Stoffel Van Vuuren (he of Koga Ryu ninjitsu, and good friend of Ashida Kim) a Grandmaster 10th degree.

I have calculated that at this rate, there will be more grandmasters than students by December 2012. Just in time to ward off the Myan end of the world prophecy. I knew there had to be a reason for soooo many grandmasters coming into being.

I might have missed something here however, the link you posted redirects to a KOREAN martial arts site.. Correct ?

THIS forum is specifically for the discussion of JAPANESE Budo.

That said, your post is full of fail anyway hence why its being moved to YMAS - Your Martial Art Sucks - Which I suspect it does.

Not only should you READ THE STICKIES at the top of each forum, you should also READ THE FUCKING FORUM TITLES before you decide to post again.

    Thank you

    Have a spiffing day.

    .

Ashida Kim and Van Vuuren are warning signs , however your case is not helped by the fact that you seemingly have never heard of Shotokan , Goju Ryu , Hapkido , Tang So do etc.

May be something to your hypothesis , but I doubt it with all the Shotokan folks in that , a couple of whom came up directly under Okazaki. All in all there are much better targets around.

Having trained in Shotokan (JKA) for the best part of my martial arts life, I think I have heard about it and a few other styles to boot. What amazed me is the amount of time these masters have trained vs their japanese counter parts, and the large number of 10th dans, vs the apparant lack of 10th dans in japan. Their lineage may be ligit, but the day to day business? It looks like another club for the boys. And as you said stoffel and ashida are dead give aways. Why are they awarding them with grades if they are karate/taekwondo based? Maybe the worlds next 12th dan is lurking in their midst.
