    QI-GONG Confusion...?

A few days ago I saw a guy extinguish a kerosene lamp by doing the "point-the-finger-at-it" trick. I was right there in the room, and there was no substantial, or at least visual, trick to it. It wasn't a swooshing movement down, and it was more of a direct path to the candle inside the lamp.

I'm no scientific guy when it comes to the wind. So I don't know if it's possible for the wind to maneuver itself in such a way to move itself down the lamp and extinguish the candle.

Anyone care to enlighten my ignorance? No one else there could do it in the same manner and consistency that he did. So unless one can get super good at controlling the wind outside of using physical technique (improbable), how the hell did it happen?

I can't think of any qigong I've learned that teaches you to do that or has anything to do with an open flame.

    Unless you count the demons.

Did he show you the 1 million dollar check he got for demonstrating a supernatural ability to the James Randi Educational Foundation in a controlled setting? No?

    Then shut the **** up.

To be fair he's not advocating for magic powers, just asking for an explanation.

Maybe he had another guy in the room with a switch. Maybe the switch was in his shoe. Maybe he'd wired a kinect up.

Be more cynical. Watch heist movies.

There's plenty of simple explanations that don't require the supernatural.

What was the guy's explanation for this? Magic powers? Were these powers good for anything else, because that's a pretty useless application.
