Well, that article didn't clear anything up for me. Is it a park to go and practice Tai Chi, or is it going to have rides and stuff for people to play on?
I would be into going to a place like that if it was some kind of Tai Chi retreat. That would be cool. But I wouldn't take my kids, it would be counter-productive to the calm environment!! :)
I have seen a lot of stuff lately where people in China are trying to promote more Tai Chi in the world. I believe it was Jet Li in an article where he is going to create a Tai Chi style that he thinks incorperates the best elements of Tai Chi in a simplified form for people to learn! I understand where he is coming from, and would like to learn such form. But his main thing is that for example, people don't stick around long enough to lear the form I do (Chen Pan Ling 99) because it takes way to long for their patients.
Even though they don't understand that you don't have to know the whole form in order to be "doing Tai Chi".Combatives training log.

My kid: where we going dad?
Me: to the Parting the Wild Horse's Mane center.
My kid: Sweet, I love riding horses.
Me: there are no horses.
My kid: Then how are we going to part their mane?
