I'm just gonna copy paste what I have in my bio, maybe make an edit or two:

I wrestled in high school, have taken 4 years of Tae Kwon Do (ITF, non Olympic) and hold a brown belt, I have studied Brazillian Jujitsu for 3 years but have never tested for rank.

I have been a member of the OSU MMA team for one year (founding member ^_^), I have been a member of the OSU TKD team for 3 years, I have studied judo for only two months and am currently looking for a dojo to train with here in Japan.

I have studied and practiced with various weapons and weapon styles off and on for the last 3 years (khali stick and knife, okinawan bo, tonfa, and my favorite the 7-section whip chain).

I am legally blind, which makes some aspects of combat difficult, I can track kicks fine and thanks to TKD and the MT element of the MMA team my kicks are, IMHO, above average. However I cannot track punches reliably because of my poor vision, a painful lesson learned at a local boxing ring.

My personal style consissts primarily of lots of ranged kicking and quick shots to close the distance and grapple, where I have found myself to be most comfortable. That's enough babbling for now.

Nope, wasn't compelled to edit anything.

I've got a "jack of all trades" approach, skilled in many, master of none ^_^ So far it's working out for me.

NEVER KICK TO THE HEAD WHILE BOTH YOU AND YOUR OPPONENT ARE STANDING!!!

Bullshit. I kick to the head with both me and my opponent standing quite a bit with success. High kicks can be made effective. To claim otherwise is foolishness.

I was just about to say the same...

For instance you can play with his mind by consistently kicking low then go high all of a sudden.

I've knocked people silly even without doing that.

You just have to throw them sparingly or your asking to be thrown. It doesn't mean you can't throw them. If you notice your opponent keeps dropping his left . . . NAIL HIM!
