The Alvarez - Channing fight was great.
I don't follow Bellator closely at all, but it is broadcast on SCORE network regularly and I tune in if there's nothing else on or I'm in the mood for some MMA.
If there is a rule , as I've been told there is, which stipulates that a champion cannot leave the organization while he holds the title unless he loses - that is messed up.
I can see why they might put that clause in a fighter's contract, since Bellator , and almost all the other MMA orgs, , are essentially stepping-stones to the UFC. They don't want guys who are representing the elite of their organizations jumping ship for a crack at the UFC all the time.
But there are obvious problems with a rule like that." If one wants to have a friend one must also want to wage war for him: and to wage war one must be capable of being an enemy." - Fr. Nietzsche 'On The Friend' Thus Spake Zarathustra -
