After watching the hendo shogun fight I don't really see either of them offering a real challenge to jones.

Great event! I'm happy to see Wanderlei use knees once more.

I'm pretty pissed Shogun didn't finish Henderson.

I agree, it should have been a draw. Amazing fight, lived up to my expectations.

How one round where 90% of it was just one fighter pounding the other isn't a dominated round?
It does not compare to precedent set by other 10-8 rounds. Shogun had a dominant position and peppered Henderson with strikes. That's it. At no point was it in danger of referee stoppage, no significant damage was dealt. I say again; if holding someone down and hitting them to no apparent effect was worth 10-8, you'd see a lot more such rounds scored.

Plus he could have used some better cardio his opening round was good, but he lost his momentum in round 2.
Yes..another poster also noted that Cung should have used more leg kicks and I agree.

Wanderlei played it nice. He was waiting outside of the kicking range, instead of just charging straight through, like I, and probably Cung expected.

    Sorry man but that's non-sense.

Henderson offered nothing in the final round. He was completely dominated. I can think of numerous evenly contested rounds that were scored 10-8 due to a single knockdown. That round was conclusively dominated. Had Shogun shown a little compusure he had 5-6 good oppurtunities to finish the fight.

"One or two shots away from being finished," Henderson said himself after the fight.

As I said earlier. Fight should have been a draw.

If you count the 5th as 10-8 for Shogun, then one of the first 3 rounds should also be 10-8 for Hendo.
