Exactly. In no way am I saying train with this guy or that he is a good instructor. I'm just saying don't think his larping means he can't spar or fight no matter how crappy he looks. He took down, or I can't find, his fatty gross no-shirt sparring.

I've seen much worse from posters.

The one you think is listed as "playful" which I don't consider sparring. So, I'll calrfiy for Mr. Angry.

He has a no shirt dojo storm/sparring video that looks better than what we see from TDs.

that looks EXACTLY like my sparring from before i started training at MMA places. hell, even now, when i get winded my sparring drifts back to that same stuff.

i would care to wager that anybody on this board with a strong background in korean/japanese arts looks like ralph.

but what the **** is this chicken wing floppy arms bullshit he's doing in the new vids? is that supposed to be a type of chun or is that systema?

Most HOBBYISTS fit your definition. For every BJJ Brown belt I'd bet there are 1,000 1-2 day a week HOBBYISTS that laugh at his videos who are equal or worse.

I agree. Its true many people talk and love to join the bandwagon of bashing other guys that have been exposed as fake, and they suck just as bad. But the difference is many arnt actually claiming to be ninja masters and marine tactical trainers etc. If Ralph at one point was okay I would believe it but he flat out sucks now. he COULD use his weight on someone though and smother then. or rush them with a few heavy arms and fists but he would gas out so fast.

Does he have autism? He kind of looks like it.

i would hope that with 3 decades of experience he would pick up something useful.

Well LARPwise yeah, he is combat king of the LARPers. but not everyone in TKD/TSD/Karate etc are LARPers. But mauybe you were only addressing guys who train in those styles who ARE LARPers. But I think ralphs severe and dan bowen fall into ninjutsu/samurai/tactical/karate larpers with virtually no TKD or TSD desire even if they might have claimed they tried them.
