Went to find the footage of me as a blue belt that was on FB. Its gone, no idea why or where to.

LOL, that was a sutemi waza attempt, he was putting incredible downward pressure on me so I went with it. I've thrown him in the past in a similar manner, but I missed that time.

He really wants nothing to do with me on the ground, despite the size difference. Once I get on top or on his back he's been in serious trouble.

He got me good in another clip, totally slammed me. I had gassed too much at that point and stiffened up, and he's plenty good to sense that and go for the kill.

We were laughing afterwards over beers, that was the hardest I'd been thrown in a LONG time. Felt like I'd been hit by a truck.

Sure, no footage, I bet!

He's 210 and I was about 158 in that match. Massively stronger than me and more fit as well, same rank, close to same time in Judo.

@ Judoratt and Josh: Yeah, he got me good with that one. I was doing pretty good but once I got a little winded I was in trouble.

LOL, I can still do a decent seoi now and then. That guy is very strong. The first time I fought him I got him witha kouchi to uchi mata for ippon. He was expecting something similar and is good enough to ura nage me through the floor so I decided to use ashi waza and seoi nage.
